Campaign Overview
Along with Jaguar Crucial Interactive has a history of success when producing first to market executions. Jaguar asked us what many other advertisers are asking:
As the next generation of our target demo spends more time online while moving away from broadcast, how can we leverage our video assets? More importantly: How can we go beyond pre-roll to accomplish increased awareness and an enhanced consumer connection?
We sought to accomplish the following tasks: create excitement and desire, build understanding, generate leads, promote the brand, and deliver new market share a younger demographic.
By manipulating editing a series of commercial video elements together in a HTML5 rich media expandable ad unit, allowing a user to own the experience with interactive touch points, users literally control and self-navigated Jaguar’s video experience. This online display advertising experience ran in Q1 of 2015. The Jaguar Alive 5 campaign was a first to market initiative pushing boundaries and raising the bar.
The campaign resulted in an average 20 seconds time spent within unit, with a total of 979,488 impressions. The unique engagement rate of the campaign was 2.55%, surpassing benchmark performance by 200%. The campaign CTR (Click Through Rate) of 0.05% can be accredited to our ability to engage and direct visitors with a superior user experience platform and integrated creative execution.
Additionally, the campaign resulted in 116 test drive registrations through the educating aspects of our high-touch ad unit, accompanied by a strong call to action. Through an effective delivery of product information, dealership salespeople were able to build off of the existing product knowledge of visitors acquired through this ad execution, in order to convert test drives into sales.
